Memorial Day

Just red and white cardstock with star patterned paper... seriously, that's it. So in rememberance of all our fallen soldiers, happy Memorial Day. We normally celebrate at our house with a BBQ and a festive dessert! Happy crafting!

Graduation Cards

I thought maybe I would keep with the theme of yesterdays post and share a couple graduation cards... This first one is from last year, but I did remake some '10 ones this year... I just gave them all away. I used my Cricut to cut out the graduation cap, as well as the numbers. Super easy. And the second would be the one I made for the boyfriend, because he's apparently more special than everyone else. I cut everything by hand with no help from any of the usual gadgets. Again, super easy. And happy crafting!

Graduation

The boyfriend graduated last weekend and I've been dying to share pictures from the party we threw for him. So here they are...

I made water bottle labels that just stuck right over the originals, graduation caps made out of mini Reces Peanut Butter Cups and chocolate squares, and a red velvet cake with graduation cap and scroll made out of fondant. I also took pictures of everyone at the party using some graduation props. Here are a couple of the happy graduate. Most of them turned out pretty funny. So happy graduation to the boyfriend and to anyone else graduating this year! And happy crafting!

Hello

For my very first blog post, "Hello" seems to say it all...

I made this card quite some time ago, but still smile everytime I look at it. It's just so playful! I made it for the boyfriend, Daniel Jamal, who I'm sure you'll be hearing plenty about. In fact, the majority of the cards I make are for him and he deserves them because he's fabulous and he's been humoring the itch I've had to share all my girly cards and crafts... but now I have a blog, so he's off the hook. Well, probably not.

So if you're reading this, I welcome you to my blog... I'm super excited to be able to share all the cards I make, as well as the other crafts I find myself getting into. Oh happy crafting!
